I’m Sarah, a photographer based in Torquay, along Victoria’s beautiful Surf Coast.

It’s quite a change of scenery from where I was born and raised – Switzerland – which I left 12 years ago on a six month backpacking trip, that, never really ended! I’m now a mum of two beautiful young girls and wife to an awesome husband.

I’ve always loved to travel, and photography to me is that sweet spot between adventure, creativity and detail. I also love to document the everyday life and capture the moment as is, especially when you are not looking at the camera. Those raw and unposed moments are pure magic.

It started photography as a hobby, but soon friends or family would ask me to photograph their favourite beach or capture a special moment and it has evolved into “BySarahSillick” today.

A few years later, I wanted to see some of my favourite photos on my walls rather than just on my screen so I decided to learn how to frame my own work and expanded my skills and knowledge. I’m so pleased to now also be offering this service to others.

Bringing special scenes to life, and capture family moments has become my greatest passion. And I also truly find joy in creating artwork for people’s homes that delights and inspires.
