Hi, I’m Sarah – a photographer based in Torquay, along Victoria’s beautiful Surf Coast.

It’s quite a change of scenery from where I was born and raised – Switzerland – which I left 13 years ago on what was meant to be a six-month backpacking trip… that never really ended! I’m now lucky to call Australia home, where I live with my awesome husband and our two beautiful young girls.

I’ve always loved to travel, and for me, photography is that sweet spot between adventure, creativity and detail. I’m especially drawn to capturing the raw, unposed moments – the ones where you're not looking at the camera – those real, everyday slices of life. That’s where the magic is.

What began as a hobby quickly grew into something more. Friends and family started asking me to photograph their favourite beach or special occasions – and so BySarahSillick was born.

A few years later, I wanted to see my favourite photos on my walls, not just on a screen. I decided to learn how to frame some of my own work and fell in love with the process. Now, I’m thrilled to offer this service to others.

Bringing special scenes to life and capturing family moments has become my greatest passion. Whether it’s documenting life as it is, or creating artwork that brings joy to your home, I’m here for it.
